10-course gourmet vegan dinner prepared by the founder at Huilanxin Vegan Restaurant(one of the top vegan restaurants in Kunming), sunset watching

We will drive for a bit and then hike to the top of the mountain behind the farm which is a very popular spot for enjoying a panoramic view of Fuxian lake

Roast potatos and sweet potatos in an earthen oven

Rice planting & games in the rice field(tug-of-war, mud fight)

About The Farm

晶喜农场简介

Fuxian Lake Jingxi Manor is guided by permaculture principles to care for the earth and share the excess! Their vision is to learn and practice sustainable production as well as to establish food forests. The farm’s main activities are friendly ecological recycling agriculture + experiential rural tourism + natural education! It continuously explores the practical experience of rural economic application and strives to be an ecological farm following the art of four seasons as its value. It is situated at the vast and beautiful Fuxian Lake. With its crystal-clear water, it is the largest deep-water freshwater lake in China and the largest lake at the source of the Pearl River.

的创始人

The founder of "Huilanxin New Concept Vegan Restaurant" is Ms. He, and she’s known to most people respectfully as “Sister He". In order to support the vegan community, and to correct the idea that "veganism is not nutritious", she opened the restaurant on August 2, 2013.

Since Huilanxin was established, it has been breaking traditions and insists on making vegan food with no MSG, less oil, less salt and self-extracted rapeseed oil. The restaurant is well-loved by people who strive for a higher quality of life.

“蕙蘭心新概念素食”的创始人姓贺，脸如满月、热情善良、具有大姐大风范，众人尊称其为“贺师姐”，贺师姐因参与公益活动走进了台湾慈济功德会，自进入功德会伊始承担的就是香積（素食），也结识了一大批吃素的师兄师姐，看到很多师兄师姐把素食吃得草率又不健康，于是为了方便食素的师兄师姐，同时也为了纠正“食素不营养”的概念，2013年8月2日，贺师姐开设了“蕙蘭心新概念素食馆”。

“蕙蘭心新概念素食”创立伊始，就打破常规，坚持做无味精、少油、少盐、自榨菜籽油的小美大爱素食，深得对生活品质有要求的师兄师姐的喜爱，常年被评为大众点评为：昆明素食热销排行榜第一名（唯一金牌素食）。

How to Get There

如何到达

The farm is about two hours drive from central Kunming. We promote green travel. Feel free to drive your own car, but we recommend you to share the spare seats with people who are also attending the event. 

For those who don't have a car, we can help arrange sharing an electric taxi. Or you can take a bus at Kunming South Bus Station to get to Chengjiang County (40 minutes) first then change to another bus(Huanhu East， 2 hours) to get to the farm.

农场距离昆明市中心约两小时车程。我们提倡绿色出行。你可以自驾前往，我们建议你与其他参加活动的人分享座位。

对于没有车的人，我们可以帮助安排搭电动出租车。或者你可以在昆明汽车南站乘坐公交车先到澄江县（40分钟），然后换乘另一辆公交车（环湖东路，2小时）到农场。

How to Sign Up/价格和报名

The farm does charge fees for this event but at a discounted price(338 RMB per person, for children see the pricing below, excluding transportation and accommodation) for promoting sustainable lifesytle. A portion of their proceeds goes to Green Solutions China for sustainability projects, (maximum 30 people, minimum 15 people).

The farm encourages people from outside of the farm to lead the workshops. If you are interested in leading the flower arranging class, morning yoga class, or you would like to lead an activity of your own, please let us know in advance. The farm will offer 10% off the fee(338RMB) for each instructor or you will receive a set of organic herb tea from them.

*The price for child applies to children between 1-1.5 meters tall; Children shorter than 1 meter who do not occupy their own seats are free of charge; who occupy their own seats are half the price for adults. The fee includes insurance, supplies, 1 breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner, event venues, utilities, etc.,  excluding personal expenses.

农场鼓励来自农场以外的人带领部分活动。如果你有兴趣带领插花班，晨间瑜伽班，或者你想带领自己的活动，请提前告诉我们，以便安排。农场将为每位带领老师提供价格九折优惠（原价338元），或者你将收到他们准备的晶喜庄园绿箭香草茶1套（绿箭+甜叶菊）。

*儿童价格适用于身高在1-1.5米之间的儿童；身高不足1米的儿童不占座位免费；占用座位的儿童是成人价格的一半。该费用包括保险、用品、1次早餐、1次午餐和1次晚餐、活动场地、水电费等，不包括个人开销费用。

We highly recommend you to bring your own camping gear(free of charge). The farm also provides rental tents. Prices are listed below.  

Things to Bring

Please bring your own yoga mat, rain jacket, toiletries, slippers, sunscreen and mosquito repellent. We promote sustainability, strive to be as plastic-free as possible, and as such the venue won't provide any disposables. Please bring your own water bottle, food containers, and shopping bags.  

Please note if it rains, the outdoor activties will be held inside the farmhouse.
